LT Eco Foods Sri Lanka is a locally owned business venture connected with reputed prestigious International Networks. LTEF is currently producing diverse eco foods and herbal products for domestic and international export markets.

Strengthening of the institutional capacity of the rural community in Sri Lanka by producing non-traditionalist foods and herbal products to domestic and international export markets.
Our Mission
To conserve natural resources in collaboration with National and international NGOs, donor partners, to ensure farmers realize their potentials through Agriculture and organic farming and to implement sustainable initiatives to empower communities specially to advocate for gender equality, social justice, and inclusivity in access to finance, healthcare, employment, and governance.

Our Main Objectives
1. We buy organic foods direct from the farmer’s island wide
2. Our main focus is Gender Empowerment through our business operations
3. Cost-Based Pricing: We adjust our prices based on costs. We pass on savings to the customers
a. Work force mainly includes Women: We provide equal opportunities for women and actively remove barriers to participation. 60 to 80% of our workers or members are women
b. 40 to 60% of our leaders and technical specialists are women
4. We support Local Economy
We focus on contributing to the local economy and local customers: We focus on serving local customers. More than half of our revenue comes from customers that are within 200 km of our headquarters or main production facilities
• Local Suppliers: We prioritize local suppliers and service providers. More than 75% of our suppliers and service providers are within 200 km of our headquarters or main production facilities
• Local Investment: We do our banking with local institutions or community development banks that reinvest in the community
• We use a social franchise model. The goals are to make organic, natural, and eco-friendly products more affordable and accessible, expand market opportunities for Good Market approved enterprises, and provide space for community meetups and events.
• Community Empowerment• Empowering youths in the community through skills development, entrepreneurship support, and capacity building initiatives to foster self-reliance and sustainable development.
• Securing a quality environment for good health and well being.
• Promoting sustainable use of natural resources.
• Restoring and maintaining the ecosystem, ecological process and preserve biodiversity, restore vegetation and ensure ecosystem development, embark on activities for poverty reduction, food security, job/ wealth generation.
• Raising public awareness and promoting understanding of linkages of environment and;
• Cooperating with government bodies, other countries, continents and international organizations on environment matters.
• Provision of shelter to the less privileged and those affected by human and natural deserters as a means of poverty alleviation and livelihood enhancement.
